With the aging of commercial fleets and the development of newer, technically advanced aircraft the need for certified aircraft maintenance technicians (AMT) is at a critical stage. The need for qualified aircraft technicians has caused the creation of thousands of employment opportunities each year, providing excellent benefits, across the United States and abroad.

The University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College Aerospace Technology provides a dedicated Aviation Maintenance program that adheres to FAR 147 training requirements. Upon satisfactory completion of this program, student applicants are eligible for Federal testing in pursuit of an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license. Completing the Aviation Maintenance Program at UA - Pulaski Tech possess many attributes such as:
