“I knew something was missing,” Kiara Ford says of her decision to quit her sales job and enroll in UA-PTC’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute. “My mom told me stories of her mother teaching her to cook and the moments they created. One day I want to create those same experiences with my children in hopes that they reminisce about them throughout their life. I want to work with youth, too, and continue the tradition of passing down food and culinary knowledge to younger generations.”
