Student Scholarship and Resource Fair
The UA-PTC Foundation, in partnership with the STEM Success Program, are hosting a “Student Scholarship and Resource Fair” at the Main Campus and at Little Rock-South on the following dates:
September 18-19, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Little Rock-South Concourse
September 23-24, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., CHARTS lobby
Attendees will learn about the Foundation scholarship opportunities, meet with UA-PTC instructors to learn how to write a scholarship essay and get tips on interviewing. College departments such as Advising and Financial Aid will be on hand to ensure that students have everything in place to return for the spring semester. TRIO and Career Pathways will also be on hand to inform students of the opportunities that are available in their programs.
UA-PTC Foundation Scholarship Opportunities
All currently enrolled UA-PTC students are now eligible to apply for most scholarships; there are still a few that are only available to second year students. All applications require a 300 - word essay; most now require a letter of recommendation from a UA-PTC instructor. First semester students must provide proof of current grades (specific criteria are listed on the individual applications). The fall application deadline is November 1, 2019. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Please read the application carefully! It is the student’s sole responsibility to insure all eligibility requirements are met and the application package is complete.
