UA–PTC emphasizes resources, communication

April 02, 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced everyone to make dramatic changes in a short period of time. At UA-PTC, we’re concerned about your health, your education, and how we can help you stay informed and on the right track.

If you need answers, always start with your official UA-PTC e-mail account and the college website, www.uaptc.edu. E-mail announcements from faculty and administration are arriving in your mailbox regularly.

In addition, this page is updated frequently and has the latest information concerning the pandemic as it relates to the college: www.uaptc.edu/publichealth

Located on that page is a comprehensive list of resources available to ensure your success: www.uaptc.edu/publichealth/student-resources

Need to find a staff or faculty member? They are ALL here: www.uaptc.edu/directory

Current and archived student newsletters are here: www.uaptc.edu/student-news

The recently upgraded UA-PTC Mobile App  offers direct access to the UA-PTC Portal, connecting to Blackboard, UA-PTC email, Financial Aid, and more. Users can customize links that include news, the UA-PTC Bookstore, campus directory, Ottenheimer library, disability services, academic advising, tutoring, scholarships, public safety, the business office, and much more. The Public Health icon has regularly-updated COVID-19 related information. All users can also receive optional “push” notifications.

Students and employees can install the free mobile app on any smartphone or tablet device. Just visit the mobile app webpage or go to the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and search for “UAPTC Mobile.” If you downloaded the app previously, update it in the app store.

Are you struggling with mental health issues? One tool at your disposal is the 24 Hour National Crisis Textline. Text NAMI to 741741; they offer free support. They’ve increased their staff to support the current circumstances in the US.
