Essay Contest seeks entries from wordsmiths

UA - Pulaski Tech is calling for student entries to the 15th Annual Essay Contest! Topics can be very wide-ranging. Students can write an academic analysis essay about a work of fiction, non-fiction, film, or other works. Students may also write about a significant event at UA - Pulaski Tech that enabled them to reach their fullest potential through access to education.

Contest winners will receive a UA-PTC Bookstore gift certificate for the following: first place $100,  second place $50 and third place $25.

Essays should be 750 - 1000 words. The submission deadline is Friday, April 10. The top essay in each category will be published in the student literary journal, Milestones. Winners will be announced during the annual UA-PTC Celebrating Student Milestones event on Thursday, April 30 beginning at 6 p.m. in the CHARTS Theater.
