Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is an international honor society that promotes academic excellence. Members are eligible to compete for scholarships, to participate in regional, national, and international meetings and institutes, and to attend workshops on leadership and scholarships.
PTK strives to create an intellectual climate that fosters academic excellence, protects academic integrity, and develops leadership. Each fall and spring semester invitation to membership is extended by the chapter to students who have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at UA-PTC that are clearly applicable to an associate degree with an minimum 3.25 cumulative grade-point average. The minimum 12 credit hours must include at least three credit hours of general education courses applicable to the associate degree being pursued.

Chloe Baker - Chloe serves as the Vice President of Leadership for PTK. Chloe is a sophomore, currently obtaining an associate's degree for Liberal Arts of Science. She then plans to transfer to UAMS for her bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Chloe is ready to direct all leadership activities and encourage the development of leadership skills in all students at UA-PTC. She is eager to grow, engage, and complete all PTK events. | |

Sheenique Murray - Sheenique serves as the Vice President of Fellowship of PTK. She is an undergraduate who is transferring to UA LR in the spring of 2026 to complete her business degree. She is a proud mom, natural leader, and lifelong achiever. She is guided by kindness and her love for helping others. | |

Tam Mai - Tam serves as the Vice President of Service. She has been attending UA-PTC for five semesters and is pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering. She is an international student, and though she is far away from her family back in Vietnam, she has found her new family here at PTK. Tam is a dedicated student and enjoys helping people who may be struggling in life or in school. | |

Ella Rice - Ella is currently a second-semester freshman at UA-PTC. She’s working toward completing an associate's degree in liberal arts and science. She’s still figuring out what she wants to do professionally, but she is excited to keep working toward exploring her academic and professional options. Ella serves as the recorder for Phi Theta Kappa. Her keen organizational skills and love for note taking will make her successful in this position. | |

Mia Diaz Cruz- Mia serves as the student government liaison. She plans to transfer to UA LR in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in computer science. She hopes to bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to help grow Phi Theta Kappa. | |

Rachel Lim - Rachel Lim serves as the Treasurer. This is her second year at UA-PTC. She is going to transfer to the RN program in the summer of 2026. She is excited to serve and help PTK to achieve the goals set for the year. | |

Kristy worked a few years as a public affairs sergeant in the Army National Guard. She brings knowledge, passion, and energy to this role, and she is looking forward to highlighting PTK's success. | |
