The Saline County Adult Education Center operates on an open-entry/open-exit basis. A student aged 18+ can enroll anytime during the year during an orientation class and exit when his/her goals are achieved. All classes and materials are offered free of charge to students without regard to race, religion, creed, nationality, disabilities or gender.
Our Mission Statement: Saline County Adult Education Center’s mission is to provide education and training courses to help the adult client upgrade his/her educational level and attain job readiness skills so that he/she can become a more productive member of society.
Saline County Adult Education Center is governed by University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College, 3000 West Scenic Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72118 501-812-2200. The program is funded by the Arkansas Department of Career Education. All instructors hold current Arkansas Teaching Certificates.
Students can enroll to study G.E.D.® preparation, workplace skills, digital literacy skills, English as a Second Language (ESL) or basic skills remediation (for college or military entrance exams.)
An adult student can enroll on any Monday at 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. with an Arkansas Driver’s License or Identification Card and their Social Security Card. The student will take an assessment in Reading and Math. Classroom instruction will be based on the initial assessment.
Monday: 9 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 8 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

An adult does not need to enroll in the classes in order to schedule the G.E.D.® Exam with our program but certain rules do apply so please call ahead.
