UA-PTC Bookstore open on tax-free weekend

This year’s tax-free weekend begins Saturday, Aug. 5.
The UA-PTC Bookstore on the Main Campus will be open from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday for students to purchase books and other school supplies tax-free.
The bookstore at Little Rock-South will be open 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Textbooks, clothing and supplies such as backpacks, art supplies, calculators and binders will be exempt. Computers and laptops, however, are not exempt.
Students should bring their student identification card or driver’s license to use financial aid to make tax-free purchases.
Students can also shop online at www.pulaskitcshop.com and use financial aid. Financial aid will be available Saturday only for in-store purchases and all weekend long for online purchases.
