College honors outstanding faculty, staff
Congratulations to UA - Pulaski Tech's outstanding faculty and staff who were honored Friday, May 12, at the college's annual Employee Recognition Luncheon.
Dalana Nugent, instructor of math, received the Susan K. Reid Award for Teaching Excellence. Wendy Schay, a UA-PTC graduate and part-time culinary instructor at the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute, received the Barbara Peters Adjunct Faculty Award for teaching. Rebecca Castleberry, assistant director of Little Learners Academy, received the Quenton Burge Award for Service Excellence. And Dr. Pam Cicirello, vice chancellor for Student Learning, received the Mary Ann Shope Award for Academic Leadership.
Several faculty and staff also received Milestone Service pins recognizing years of service. Weeda Jones, instructor dental assisting, who was recognized for 25 years of service, and Steve Williams, welding instructor, and Jason Martin, history instructor, were recognized for 20 years of service.
